The PropertyLayer coverage directory now provides a page for every county product that the catalog marks available with a positive record count. Limited catalog listings remain directly reviewable but are excluded from search indexes until they meet the publication-quality threshold described in the methodology.
The directory is built from product data rather than a handwritten location list. When a catalog row does not meet the publication rule, the build does not create a county page for it.
What each page contains
State pages list their available counties and the sum of the listed county records. County pages show:
- county and state name;
- five-digit county GEOID;
- catalog record count;
- current bulk-file price;
- available field-presence rates; and
- separate paths to buy a file or review API access.
The field rates describe non-null values in the catalog measures. They are not accuracy scores. A rate may be absent when the catalog does not include that measure, even though the county product is available.
Publication rule
The first release was generated from the September 7, 2026 catalog. It contained 3,141 available county products across 51 state-level jurisdictions. The build rule keeps county rows where is_available is true and parcel_count is greater than zero.
Those rules prevent empty location pages from entering the site. Pages with fewer than 500 records are also excluded from the sitemap and search indexes until coverage is verified. The current directory can change after a catalog update, while the dated coverage snapshot preserves the totals cited for this release.
If a county needed for a purchase is not listed, contact sales with the geography and timeline. An absent page means the product did not meet the directory’s publication rule at build time; it does not promise or rule out future availability.
Jurisdiction labels follow the U.S. Census Bureau’s county and county-equivalent definitions, including parishes, boroughs, census areas, planning regions, and independent cities.
