Property data starts local
Ownership, assessment, tax, sale, structure, legal-description, and parcel-boundary records are published by thousands of local offices. Their files use different names, types, identifiers, and release schedules. PropertyLayer collects those sources and maps them into a shared schema without pretending the local differences disappeared.
Two products, one record
Bulk Data serves teams that need every available record in a county, state, or nationwide delivery. The Property Data API serves applications that begin with an address, coordinate, polygon, parcel identifier, or field query. Both products read from the same standardized data model.
Facts before reach
Coverage pages are generated from available products in the live catalog. County fields remain null when the source does not publish a value. Counts describe property records, not people, buildings, or owners. We publish these limits because they are part of using the data correctly.
