Compare the record, not the headline count
Most national providers can quote a large parcel count. The buying decision turns on what is attached to each parcel, how the data is delivered, what it costs to test, and which rights the license includes.

Three checks before price
A national total is useful context. It is not proof that the records you need are complete or current.
- Field depth
- Compare the exact tax, assessment, deed, owner, building, land, and geometry fields required by the workflow.
- Local coverage
- Test source dates and fill in the counties that matter. National counts can hide a missing or thin local source.
- Total terms
- Add product tiers, updates, add-ons, storage rules, redistribution, and delivery costs before calling one offer cheaper.
