BuyParcelData is becoming PropertyLayer.
The new name covers both ways customers use the product: complete county, state, and nationwide files through Bulk Data, and request-based access through the Property Data API. The underlying work remains the same—collecting public property records, mapping them into a common schema, checking the result, and making the data available for real applications.
What is changing
- The public marketing site moves to
propertylayer.com. - The store and dashboard move to
app.propertylayer.com. - Documentation moves to
docs.propertylayer.com. - API documentation will use
api.propertylayer.comas the primary server name. - Product pages, coverage pages, guides, and support material use the PropertyLayer name.
Old links will redirect to the matching PropertyLayer destination during the coordinated domain change. Intentional compatibility addresses may remain active while customers update integrations.
What is not changing
Existing customers still have access to the property-data products they use. The rebrand does not turn Bulk Data into an API-only product or make the API secondary to file delivery. Both products remain separate purchase paths over the same standardized record.
Customers should not change a production API hostname until PropertyLayer sends migration instructions and the new endpoint is live. A name shown on this preview site is not a cutover notice.
Where to begin
Use Bulk Data for complete geography files, or read the API overview for live property requests. The data page explains the shared record, and the coverage directory lists currently available county products.
Questions about an account or planned integration can go to support@propertylayer.com. Purchase and coverage questions can go through Contact Sales.
